Not a great commercial. But not bad, either.

Considering Kodak's current problems, it might be a good idea to bring back some of this stuff (like 126 film) for a retro-crowd, and get some retro person (like a sitcom star of the era) to promote it as "the way of the retro".

Also, that dog is cute. As you could tell, this was taken from a broadcast of "Ozzie and Harriet", a public domain TV series, though this is not a cast ad. Sadly, none of the cast are alive so they couldn't be used for retro promotional purposes...but there are others from other shows like some of the cast from the sci-fi adventure series "Lost in Space" who are still around.
